Giving Back to the Community
AWA Vienna supports the wider community through fundraising events and volunteer initiatives. Throughout the year, members organize activities that bring together AWA members, friends and the public to support charitable organizations. Members contribute their time and talents in many ways, providing practical support to community partners across Vienna.

Volunteer work is not only extremely helpful for the families but is also important for the continued dialogue between Civic Society, aid organizations and people in need. Hedwig Wölfl (CEO of the child protection NGO Die Möwe) summarizes that the cooperation between AWA Vienna and “Frühe Hilfen Wien West” is of great importance to support Human Rights in the best sense.
